Gary Ghazarian has been a gearhead since birth. As a kid, he always had his favorite Hot Wheels tucked in his pockets, a small sign of the lifelong passion that would shape his career. His journey with cars began at 16 when he took a job at a local gas station. There, he was mentored by experienced automotive mechanics, gaining hands-on knowledge of the repair industry. That passion soon led to his first car—a 1968 Chevy Chevelle. From that moment on, he was hooked.
Over the years, Gary has owned a wide array of hot rods and motorcycles, including a 1991 Ford Mustang GT, 1983 VW GTI, 1987 Buick Turbo Regal, and a 2010 Chevy Camaro SS. His love for two wheels is just as strong, with bikes like a 1975 Kawasaki H1, a 2000 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail, and a 2003 Harley Davidson Anniversary Deuce in his collection.
His expertise in the automotive industry extends beyond ownership. Gary has worked as a Certified Automotive Service Advisor for Volkswagen, Subaru, Chevrolet, and Cadillac. He was also a crew member for a late model stock car racing team, earning the role of Car Chief after proving his skills and dedication. Additionally, he worked in high-performance and racing parts sales at CV Products and Central High Performance, further deepening his understanding of the industry.
In 2008, Gary relocated to Maryland and joined Interstate Batteries as a Route Salesman, eventually advancing to Operations Manager. His experience working with diverse customers and employees taught him valuable life skills—ones that he now applies to the appraisal process. He also spent time as the Crew Chief for his son's Go-Kart racing team, competing across the Southeast.
Gary chose to join Auto Appraisal Network because of its strong community of dedicated automotive professionals who share his passion for quality and precision.
